Stamped signet rings
This production method is very similar to coin minting. A stamped signet ring is made by passing a sheet of silver or gold through a large machine that stamps the metal through impact. The machine shapes the metal by having a steel mold similar to the desired signet ring. A stamped signet ring is of very high quality since the metal is compressed through pressure. This means that the ring has a long life and is well suited to be engraved.
Jeg anbefaler stanset sølv signetringer, da sølvet er mykere enn støp gull legeringene. Du kan fortsatt bestille stanset signetringer i gull ved å kontakte post@gravorgathe.no

Cast signet rings
There are many casting techniques. Typically, a cast signet ring is made by pouring liquid metal into a plaster mold. The disadvantage of casting is that the technique can create air pores in the metal. The air pores are small holes that may be visible on the signet ring. The advantage of casting is that the customer can use their own gold to have a signet ring produced. Send an email to kontakt@anehaugen.no if you want to use your own gold to make your signet ring.
Om du har gull smykker hjemme, kan de leveres inn for å lage en signetring i REGENT kolleksjonen. Ta kontakt på post@gravorgathe.no for mer informasjon.
