Course description:
Introduction to Hand Engraving is a dedicated program that will give you a taste of hand engraving. The course will teach participants how to set up and use a stylus, the essential tool in hand engraving. By the end of the course, you will be able to engrave simple lines and circles, and combine them to create intricate patterns and designs. You should have some craft skills and patience to join the course.

Course objectives:

-Learn how to set up and prepare your own stingray

-Understand and practice engraving straight lines with precision.

-Master the technique behind engraving circles.

-Explore how basic lines and circles can be combined to create exciting patterns.

The course package includes:

Loan of toolbox with goldsmith tools

A quality chisel for engraving.

Copper plates for practice

Necessary equipment participants must bring:

Magnifying glass for magnification

Engraving ball if you have*

Lunch
